Innovative, Low-Cost Instrumentation for the
New Millennium
The glass cockpit of the future has
already become the standard in today's military and
commercial aircraft. High-time pilots, both commercial
and private, have come to recognize the importance of
the "quick scan" ― the ability to see at a glance whether critical flight and engine parameters are within
acceptable limits, and to be rapidly alerted to out-of-limit conditions.
You, too, can have the peace of mind that comes from
knowing
"Am I in the Green?"

AIM-2TM Aircraft Information Monitor
The ideal engine monitoring solution for pilots who prefer
to see "quick-scan" graphical information.
$1499*
If analog information is your thing, this is the choice for you. The compact, all-in-one AIM-2 features bright, color-coded, vertical LED bargraphs that allow for rapid scanning, comparison and instant recognition of normal (green), cautionary (yellow) or warning (red) conditions. Just a quick glance will tell you if all engine parameters are "in the green" -- and instantly alert you to out-of-limit conditions.
Digital RPM and manifold pressure (or outside air temperature) are shown on two bright, large-character LED displays. The touch of a button will let you scan through the numerical values of oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel flow and fuel remaining, as well as each CHT and each EGT. A "STOP" button freezes the CHT and EGT displays on any single cylinder.
The AIM-2 provides the following - simultaneously and without scrolling:

Manifold Pressure (or OAT) |

Pressing the "MODE" button allows you to see numerical values of:
** The AIM-2 indicates fuel-remaining based on fuel flow, or it can be configured to monitor one or two fuel-level probes (Stewart-Warner, VDO, or SkySports).
Physical Specifications
The AIM-2 is designed specifically to fit into a standard radio rack, although it may be panel-mounted as well. The 4-cylinder model measures 6.25" wide x 2.5" high x 1.8" deep. The six-cylinder model is .5 " taller.
The total weight of the AIM-2, including the Data Acquisition Module (usually mounted behind the panel), is less
than 2 lbs.
The AIM-2 can be configured for installation in conventional fixed-wing airplanes
as well as helicopters, ultra-lights and gyroplanes. It is compatible with all engine types: water- or air- cooled, carbureted or fuel-injected, 12- or 24-volt systems,
with magnetos or electronic ignition.
Specific models are available for standard Lycoming, Continental and Franklin engines,
as well as for Rotax 912/914, Jabiru, YAK, turbine engines, and automobile engine conversions like the Subaru and Ryan Falconer V12.
The AIM-2 can be customized to meet the needs of your particular aircraft and engine.
*Price does not include sensors.
