Innovative,
Low-Cost Instrumentation
for the
New Millennium

The glass cockpit of the future has already become the standard in today's military and commercial aircraft. High-time pilots, both commercial and private, have come to recognize the importance of the "quick scan" the ability to see at a glance whether critical flight and engine parameters are within acceptable limits, and to be rapidly alerted to out-of-limit conditions.

You, too, can have the peace of mind that comes from knowing

"Am I in the Green?"

About Us

I-K Technologies' engineers, technicians and designers have been working together as a team for more than 20 years. Company principals are licensed pilots and hold ratings in airplanes (land and sea) as well as helicopters.

I-K Technologies founder, CEO and Chief Engineer, Ralph Krongold, has more than 35 years of experience in high-technology aerospace electronic design and development, specializing in instrumentation, data acquisition and display, digital communications, and embedded microprocessor systems.

As a Senior Electronics Engineer at Simi Valley, Calif.-based AeroVironment Design & Development Center, Ralph designed, developed, integrated and tested all of the redundant aircraft sensor-monitoring electronics for the NASA/AeroVironment solar-powered, unmanned aircraft, Centurion.  The aircraft -- now called Helios -- has flown to an altitude of 96,800 feet on solar power alone!

Ralph is a past President of EAA Chapter 11, based at SMO (Santa Monica, Calif.), and former owner of a Vari-eze. He is rated as a Commercial Pilot, Rotorcraft, and a Private Pilot, Airplane (Land and Sea). In addition, Ralph is an adjunct Instructor of Electronic Technology at Long Beach City College, Long Beach, Calif.

I-K Technologies Vice President, Helene Krongold, is a Private Pilot with Land and Sea ratings. She is a former Chairman of the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the Ninety-Nines: International Organization of Women Pilots; a member of Women in Aviation, International; and a former Vice President and Young Eagles Coordinator of EAA Chapter 11. A professional editor and writer, Helene is a former Managing Editor of "Plane & Pilot" and "PILOT Journal" magazines.

Helene and Ralph own and fly a 1977 Grumman Tiger -- with, of course, the IK2000TM in its panel!

I-K Technologies has had a long history of design, development and production of special-purpose telephonic communications terminals that are in common use worldwide and have been standardized by all of the major telephone operating companies.

Our engineers and designers are also available for custom electronics and avionics projects.

The IK2000TM is not currently STC-ed or PMA-ed for general installation in certificated aircraft. It was installed in the Grumman Tiger on an FAA 337 Field Approval, a possible option for owners of certificated aircraft.
